Sales Executive Program Terms
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms govern the Strata9 Sales Executive Program (the "Program") operated by Strata9 Inc., located at 1500 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Suite 207, Houston, TX 77077 ("Strata9", "we", "us"). They apply to everyone who applies to the Program and to every approved Sales Executive ("you"). By submitting an application, signing in to Strata9.team or accepting a payout, you agree to these terms.
1. The relationship
You are an independent contractor. Nothing in the Program makes you an employee, partner, joint venturer, franchisee or agent of Strata9.
- This is a commission-based sales role. There is no salary, hourly pay, draw, expense reimbursement or benefit of any kind.
- You decide when, where and how you work, and you provide your own equipment, phone and transportation.
- You have no authority to sign contracts, quote custom pricing, grant discounts or make promises on behalf of Strata9.
- You may hold other jobs and represent other businesses, provided you do not present them as part of Strata9.
2. Applying and approval
Strata9 reviews every application and may approve or decline any application at its sole discretion. You must be at least 18 years old and able to work as an independent contractor in your location. Approval gives you a Sales Executive account, a referral code, two referral links, a digital business card and a dashboard.
3. Your title and card
While your account is active you may use the title "Sales Executive, Strata9" on your digital business card, in your email signature and on your professional profiles. When your account ends, you must stop using the title and remove it from anything you control. You may not create your own Strata9 logos, websites, social accounts, ads or printed materials that imitate an official Strata9 page.
4. What you sell
You may refer customers to Strata9.exchange and Strata9.rentals subscriptions at the published prices. Customers sign up and pay directly through those sites. You never collect money from a customer.
5. Commission
- First paid month. You earn 50% of the first monthly payment an account you referred makes after its free trial.
- Residual. You earn 10% of each later monthly payment that account makes, for as long as it stays active and paying. While you have 20 or more active paying accounts, the residual on all of your accounts is 15%. If you drop below 20, it returns to 10%. The rate is set when each payment is recorded.
- Seat bonus. You earn a one-time $100 bonus for an Exchange account you referred when it first pays for 5 or more seats in a monthly payment.
- Fast-start bonus. You earn a one-time $150 bonus for each of your first 3 referred accounts that make their first paid monthly payment within 60 days of your approval.
- Bonuses follow the same 30-day hold as commission. A full refund, chargeback or failed payment of the payment that triggered a bonus reverses the bonus.
- Commission is calculated on the amount actually collected. No commission is earned during a free trial, or on any unpaid, past-due or canceled month.
- Commission is recorded only when a payment is received. Commissions become available 30 days after the customer's payment. Until then it is shown as pending. If the payment is refunded or disputed during those 30 days, the pending commission is canceled.
- If a payment is refunded, charged back or fails, the commission it created is reversed as a negative line in your ledger and offsets your balance.
- No commission is earned on an account that you own, control or are employed by, or on any account Strata9 determines was referred through a breach of these terms.
6. Attribution
An account is credited to you when the customer first visits Strata9.exchange or Strata9.rentals through your referral link and signs up within 90 days. The first Sales Executive link a customer visits is the one that counts. Once the account signs up, the credit is locked and can be changed only by a Strata9 admin. Every change is logged. Strata9's records decide attribution, and its decision on any dispute is final.
7. Payouts
- You may request a payout once your available, unpaid balance reaches $99. Pending commissions do not count toward this amount. Each request is for your full available balance.
- Payouts are sent through Stripe to the account you connect during setup. You must complete Stripe's identity, bank and tax steps before a payout can be sent, and Stripe's own terms apply to your Stripe account.
- Strata9 reviews each request and may hold or reject a request while it checks for refunds, chargebacks or a breach of these terms.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. Strata9 issues a Form 1099 where required by law.
8. How you represent Strata9
- Describe the products and their prices accurately. Do not promise features, data, results or discounts that Strata9 does not offer.
- Follow every law that applies to your outreach, including the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and do-not-call rules. Do not send bulk unsolicited email or text messages.
- Do not buy search or social ads that use the Strata9 name, and do not register domains, handles or business names containing "Strata9".
- Do not sign up customers on their behalf, offer customers money or gifts to sign up, or refer yourself.
9. Confidential information
Customer information, commission data, product plans and anything else Strata9 shares with you that is not public is confidential. Use it only for the Program and do not share it, during or after your time in the Program.
10. Suspension and ending the Program
You may leave the Program at any time by telling us in writing. Strata9 may suspend or end your account at any time, with or without cause, and will end it immediately for a breach of these terms. When your account ends, commission stops accruing. Commission already earned on payments Strata9 received before the end date is paid to you once any refund or chargeback period for those payments has passed, unless your account ended for a breach of these terms.
11. Changes to the Program
Strata9 may change these terms, the commission rates, the payout minimum or the products in the Program. We will post the updated terms on this page and tell active Sales Executives by email. Changes apply to payments received after the change takes effect.
12. Liability
The Program, the dashboard and the referral tools are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, Strata9 is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost commission caused by technical problems, and Strata9's total liability to you is limited to the earned commission it owes you. You are responsible for your own conduct and agree to cover any claim against Strata9 caused by your breach of these terms or of the law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas.
